The Teacher Apprenticeship Network is an innovative, teacher apprenticeship network that partners with districts, community colleges, and educator preparation providers to facilitate a statewide teacher apprenticeship program.
We are a nonprofit organization committed to helping school districts who are facing unprecedented teacher shortages find proven, proficient professionals ready to transition into exceptional educators — so they can eliminate vacancies, protect their budgets, and deliver the quality education every student deserves.

Is a teacher apprenticeship right for me?
Teacher Apprenticeships are a great fit for paraprofessionals already working in schools, as well as career changers looking to enter the field of education. We support individuals currently employed at our partner schools and also help place those who aren't yet in the system into open roles—so you can earn while you learn!

Benefits for Apprentices
Earn While You Learn
During the apprenticeship, we provide capacity and technical support for schools and districts for on-the-job training implementation, tracking, and reporting. Apprentices earn a salary during their program.
Incentives for Acquiring Skills
Through local, state, and federal programs, apprentices and hiring districts receive financial support while completing the apprenticeship program.
Complete Coursework
We partner with EPPs, Community Colleges, and nonprofit organizations to design and implement Related Technical Instructional hours (RTI) that can be used to introduce pedagogy and prepare for state certification exams. Typically, a minimum of 140 hours of RTI is recommended to ensure apprentices are well-equipped to lead their classroom.
Credentialing & Certification
Our goal is to help teacher apprentices successfully obtain a credential or a teaching certification. We support schools and districts in developing and implementing an apprenticeship program specifically designed to support teacher apprentices in achieving this goal.
